Gated’s API Services provide new revenue to MNOs by using existing functionality in the 3G and 4G signaling core to provide data services to Enterprise customers. Two services are currently offered

Banking Fraud

The global Fintech (financial technology) industry is focused on reducing fraud associated with all forms of online banking transactions.  The Gated team works with Fintech Platform providers to identify online financial fraud indicators associated with a user’s mobile phone service. Experience has shown that a real time lookup of specific mobile subscription information available from the 3G and 4G core network can help the Fintech industry to identify potential fraudulent online transactions. Gated understands that accessing data from the mobile signaling network requires strict compliance with GDPR rules surrounding valid use of personally identifiable information (PII).

IoT Device Status

Gated can deliver value to IoT solution providers by providing access to mobile core information about the status and location of connected IoT devices.  This service can be applied to nomadic IoT devices that periodically don’t have access to GPS signals (e.g. car/truck in an enclosed parking garage).
